Crown Steam GLT-30 Description
Using thermostatic controls, operators of the Crown Steam GLT-30 tilting steam kettle can adjust the temperature from 165 to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Water for steaming is held in the lower two thirds of the unit, and if it gets low, an indicator light and window will let users know it needs to be refilled. Enhancing safety, this unit will shut off if the water levels get too low, and it has a gas shut-off valve and pressure relief valve.
The Crown Steam GLT-30 steam kettle has a durable stainless steel exterior, and so the unit can be used with acidic foods without corroding, the interior liner is also made of stainless steel. It can tilt past 90 degrees for emptying food, and it tilts with a manual crank, which is an affordable alternative to an automatic option that would be less jerky. To retain warm air, the kettle is insulated.
