This heat is kept inside the chamber with vitreous fiber insulation, maintaining consistent temperatures and ensuring the outside does not get hot. It is powered by two free-floating, duplex-tube burners that are removable for maintenance.
The Blodgett 1048 pizza deck oven is made of stainless steel with a full-angle iron frame for sturdiness, while the spring-assisted door has a heavy chrome-plated handle for comfortable opening, providing access to the ignitors and pizza deck. Its Rokite deck uses quick-heat technology to make sure pizzas cook efficiently. To control this unit, the main gas valve and safety pilot valve are located behind the ventilated compartment in the front.
