This compact stainless steel electric griddle from Adcraft (model Grid-16) is a great appliance for specialized uses. It’s an ideal, secondary unit for back-up, or as a dedicated griddle for specific food service tasks. The working griddle surface area is 15.5” by 16” and the griddle’s three-inch high backsplash and side walls keep any grease spatters localized. A green indicator light tells you when the power is on and there’s an orange temperature-indicator light to warn you when the griddle surface is hot. The griddle surface area, by the way, gets very hot – the adjustable temperature range for the griddle is 120°-570° F. Total energy capacity is an impressive 1750 watts, yet this appliance works on standard 110V current. (Larger versions of this same Adcraft griddle, the Grid-24 and Grid-30, are both 220V.)
